What format are the photos in? All Photo And Beyond photos are in JPG format.
Do you add photos on a regular basis? Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell? Yes! To submit your work to Photo And Beyond, click the "Photographer Login " link or Photographer Signup.
What kind of photos are in demand? Business-related photos, people getting involved in various activities, health and medical related and technology photos.
Do you offer refunds? Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the Photo And Beyond photos that I download? Yes. While Photo And Beyond offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format.
If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site? No, an unlimited membership allows you full access to download any photos on our site at no extra charge.
Is account sharing allowed? No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.
I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do? On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly subscription and you are not able to access photos Photo And Beyond using your details, send a support request.
FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
What restrictions are there for uploading photos? ? The photo MUST be taken by you. If it's artwork you must be the author of the artwork. ? A minimum of 2000 pixels on one side at regular 3:4 aspect ratio. 4000 pixels or more is preferred. Increasing image size for submission is not accepted. -? JPG files with a 5 MB max file size. ? Crisp clear images, well lit, nicely composed, good color. ? "Snapshot" type photos are typically not accepted. ? Photo should be usable for any media or business type. Can people and crowds be in my photos legally? Yes, as long as you cannot recognize them individually. If you can recognize their face, you must have a signed Model Release from that person. Upload the Model Release along with your photo as a JPG. You may submit one Model Release for one "photo shoot" as long as the content and subject are the same per "photo shoot" and you upload them in the same batch.
Can buildings or homes be photographed legally? Yes, as long as the photo is taken from a publicly accessible place and you are not invading anyone's privacy. Remember, you cannot photograph people in the building or home or in any way invade their privacy. If possible, it is always good to have a signed property release which you upload to us along with your photo.
Taking photos of buildings or homes from outside in a public place such as the sidewalk or the street is generally OK, as long as they don't show anything private such as people on or within the property or other details that the property owner may wish to keep private.
Do I need an individually signed Model Release for each photo a model is in? You can use one Model Release based on the photo session. You'll need to upload this same release with each photo from that session.
Do I lose my rights to the photos after I've uploaded them? You do not lose the copyright or ownership but by uploading, you do agree to allow Photo And Beyond to use and sell your photo, and pay you for it of course.
FOR DESIGNERS
Are there any limits to how or what I can use the photo for? See the Licensing Agreement for full details - most uses are permitted except reprinting, reselling or uploading as stock images elsewhere, no defaming or slandering the models in the photo.
How large are the photos and images? The file sizes and resolutions vary depending on what the photographer or artist provides to us, you will see the resolution and any special size information on the details pages. Get the largest pixel dimension image you can for maximum flexibility. Bigger pixel size is better, especially for printing uses.
Will there be a watermark on the photo when I purchase it? No.
Do I own the rights to any photos or images that I download? No. You own the right to use the photo or image within the bounds of our Licensing Agreement. The original photographer or artist retains the copyright to the photo or graphic image.
